The Snowy Day and Other Stories
Ezra Jack Keats’ treasured characters come to life in this humorous and fun adaptation of the collected stories: "Whistle for Willie", "Goggles!", "A Letter to Amy", and "The Snowy Day." Follow Peter and his friends through winter, spring, summer, and fall as they romp and play, start snowball fights and make snow angels, journey in space and under the sea, and more, all in this imaginative musical play. Using innovative shadow puppetry, The Snowy Day and Other Stories celebrates the magic and boundless possibilities of childhood and the challenges of growing up.
Read to Get Ready
Family reading is one of the best ways to support your child's language development and academic success!

The books are easily available at Kansas City Public Library branches. Then, each family that participates in the Family Activity will also get to select a book to take home and keep for follow up reading.

Enjoy A Family Activity
The arts activity will take place immediately following the 11 a.m. performance (around 12:00 p.m.) and will involve families picking up a costume and an interactive worksheet that will allow them to bring a character to life at home - just like in the show they just enjoyed together. One costume per child will be provided. This portion of the activity is for Read360 members only. We also welcome families to join us in the Applause Club lobby prior to the performance (between 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) for an arts activity open to all attendees.
