An adaptable literacy initiative that responds to the unique needs of communities.
READ 360ห is a new collective impact program from Turn the Page KC focused on centering the voices of parents and families, one neighborhood at a time, to direct the resources and services from across the city that increase literacy.
READ 360ห program partners focus on listening and supporting Neighborhood Literacy Councils and leveraging the unique and specific assets that support the growth they envision. Collective impact helps leverage the strengths of community-based partners, educational partners, literacy partners, health partners, and civic partners so that the children of every neighborhood in Greater KC experience language-rich environments, enter Kindergarten ready to learn to read, and achieve grade level reading proficiency by the 3rd grade.

Building communities of families dedicated to children's literacy
The READ 360ห program launch focused on bringing together families in their neighborhood communities to elevate their voices and help them connect and access opportunities throughout Kansas City. This innovative approach was recognized by the All-America City program of the National Civic League, in which Kansas City was a 2022 Finalist.
Three years later, READ 360ห is changing lives and growing throughout the city. Are you interested in joining one of our Literacy Councils? Let us know and weโll connect you to the community that is most convenient for your family!
