Family Reading Kansas City is a program created by the nonprofit organization Turn the Page Kansas City, dedicated to fostering a love for reading and improving literacy rates among children. Our mission is to empower families to encourage their children to read engaging, age-appropriate books—because we believe that literacy is the foundation of all education. By offering resources, guidance, and community support, Family Reading Kansas City helps families create positive, lasting reading habits at home. Through reading together, families can help their children unlock new opportunities for academic success and lifelong learning. Our goal is to ensure that every child in Kansas City has access to quality literature, setting them on the path to high literacy and a bright future.
